Camp is going great!  We have a great group of junior high students and they are all pretty cool.  I love to see them opening up and sharing about specific situations in their lives.  Last night we had an awesome message brought to us about stopping and yielding to God.  We need to recognize areas we need to stop and let God lead us in.  God wants us to identify these areas in our own life and let him take control of those areas.

God will help us as much we let Him.  He wants to help us change, and He wants to see us totally trust Him.  We have to make that choice ourselves though.  Last night a couple boys in my family group shared things in their lives that they want to stop and move away from.  They are students who know that the examples they see from some adults aren’t the examples that they should follow.  They want to follow the example of Jesus!

It is incredible to share in these times when these students are learning about their life with Jesus!

We also had a great time yesterday swimming and going to the Low Ropes Course.  At the Low Ropes Course our family learned about teamwork and how Jesus is there to help us and save us!  It was an incredible experience and a great way for them to learn to trust each other.

Today will be an incredible day.  We have about 20 students taking a class on becoming a Christian, and we will be offering our first invitation tonight.
