Working on lessons for our ministries each week can be a very time consuming thing to do.  Whether you went to Bible College to learn how or you have taught yourself, you know that it takes up a large portion of our time.

This is an extremely important part of our ministry.  These lessons are the time we get to focus specifically on telling everybody in our group the same thing.  If there is a message we need to get across to all of our students then this is the time to do it.  If we want them to understand the basics of faith, then this is our time to explain them.

Youth Group Lessons have to be one of the top priorities in our weeks.  Many of us search for ideas, or try to keep a notebook of what we want to talk about.  Some of us are very react to current events and issues to decide what we will talk about each week.  Whatever you do I am sure you are trying to do your best each and every time.

Some of us write our own curriculum from scratch, others use ideas and concepts we find from other authors to create our own messages, sometimes we purchase curriculum to change and adapt to what the needs of our group are, and there are some of us in ministry that purchase curriculum to use as is.

These are all legitimate ways of preparing for your youth group lessons.  I think each of us just need to decide and commit to the process that will bring the Word of God to our students in the best way possible.  It is the same as when some of us have worship in our ministries, games in our ministries, and even small groups in our ministries.  These things don’t fit in every setting in every church, but they are all legitimate ways of doing ministry.

Here at JuniorHighMinistry.org we want to provide you with whatever you need.

1.  If you need something you can grab and use as is, then we have that for you.  Each of our series are complete with message, games, small group questions, activities, and PowerPoint.  We also provide all of our images for you to use as needed.

2.  I you want to plan ahead and prepare for an upcoming series we give you all the details so that you can promote and publicize the upcoming series, and if you choose you can adapt our lessons to fit your ministry.

3.  You can purchase our series and use the graphics, topics, and games.  You can take the concepts for our lessons and develop your own message if that is what works for you.

We want to provide you with everything you could possibly need, but we also want to make each series adaptable to your needs.  If you haven’t tried us out yet, then click on “The Big Q”  and try it out for yourself.  You can also check out our “Junior High Series” page to see all the rest of our material.

We would love to hear from you about how you use our material, and what you think.  Send me an email at [email protected] or leave a message here on the blog.
