New Thanksgiving Lesson
We’re super excited about the release of our new Thanksgiving lesson for junior highers!
Junior high students struggle with not understanding when, where, and how to be thankful. They don’t show appreciation well, and they don’t understand how thankful they should be to God for what He has done for us. “Thank God“, our Thanksgiving Lesson, will help junior highers learn how to express thanks. This lesson will also help them focus on God during this holiday season.
Junior high students need an example to show them why this concept is important. Many student have an attitude of entitlement. They feel that people and the world owe them the things they receive. They do not feel the need to express gratitude for the gifts they receive.
Sometimes it isn’t even about gifts for these students. Junior high students need to understand what God did for them when He sent Jesus Christ to live and die for them. We try every week to get our students to understand what Jesus did for them on the cross, but do we talk to them about how they should respond to it. Being Thankful is a big part of how we should respond to the cross.
This lesson will help you expand students understanding of this as you study from the book of Colossians. Click Here for more info on this Lesson.
